- About Me: I am a Christian . This has over the years become most important to me! I have friends from many parts of the world and enjoy sharing hospitality: For about 18 yrs I have enjoyed snail mail and still correspond with friends mostly in the .us. Many who have met us and I them: I am now getting into e/mail but feel there is nothing like the written letter. Myself and husband now attend a mix fellowship @ a friends farm and buisness complex.... We live in the North of the uk about 200 mls from London. FAMILY I was a single parent till my daughter was 4 .. I met my dear husband and we married in 1983....He was in the RN for 8 yrs before we met... we had a daughter when I was 42 and I suffered a lot of PND... - Places I love: I love Spain & Malta... I have lived & worked in the. us. for 6 yrs in the mid sixties.... I also speak enough Spanish to get by
- Places I've been: I have been to ITALY first trip to Europe with our youth hostel when I was 16 we went to Venice & Rome: The Canary islands in 1973. 4 Trips to Spain. Germany twice. Hungary once Israel to see Snail mails aunt and also tour in 1999 when things were not as fraught. Malta twice France 4 times: Last yr with friend to her cottage nr Tolusse approx 800 miles from uk.... Portugal latest last yr(2005) Usa visiting old friends and wonderful friends from snail and Canada Montrea l& Ottawa visiting wonderful friends in Vermont westchester ny white plains ny Watertown ny Marietta GA New Orleans:Huston Texas:Connecticut...... from snail mail.... Husband Dave was in the RN before we met & now works as an electrician @ a prison. He attends the FGBMFI when he can: I the Womens Aglow. I am young in Spirit and have friends of all ages both saved & unsaved and of mix denominations.... This yr we plan a few days b/b in the Yorkshire Dales in June. Also a cottage for a week in September.
